A Simple Snowflake Christmas Card and the Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza sale is coming!

Happy Saturday!

It is a very snowy day here in the Chicago Suburbs. Perfect day for crafting with snowflakes, right?  Since that is the case I have a very quick and easy Christmas card to share with you today.

This could easily be one you can make in multiples to get your Christmas Cards done fast.   I started with a card base in Mossy Meadow and then cut out a 4 X 5 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake. I then cut a 1 x 5 1/4 strip of patterned paper from the Merry Moments DSP paper pack in the holiday catalog.  You could easily use many of the other pattern options, but I really liked the way this plaid looked with the snowflakes.  To make the snowflakes I stamped the second to largest one from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set at the top in Mossy Meadow and then did the same with the smaller snowflakes.  I added the sentiment, also from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set, at the bottom right in Real Red.  Once a stamped and assembled I tied the adorable 1/8 inch Striped Ribbon in Real Red into a simple knot to cover up the seam between the Crumb Cake and the DSP. Lastly, I added the pretty Metal Rimmed Pearls in the size that best fit each snowflake. That’s it!  Simple, fast and still pretty!

Now let’s talk about some of the Amazing deals coming up! Stampin’ Up! is offering special deals all week next week and some of them last for only 24 hours so you have to be sure you don’t miss that item on your wish list at one of the best prices available.
